James “Bob” Robert Hashbarger, age 74, of Ridgedale, Missouri
James “Bob” Robert Hashbarger, age 74, of Ridgedale, Missouri, passed away January 4, 2023. He entered this life August 28, 1948, the son of James Adam and Roberta (Slavens) Hashbarger in Frankfort, Indiana. Bob was married to Ann Turner on December 23, 1972.
With a heart of gold, Bob loved meeting and talking with people. His friends were truly important, valued, and loved by him. He was of the Episcopalian faith and a member of the Optimist Club. Bob was an avid reader and loved keeping up with current events. He enjoyed history, gardening, cooking, and refinishing antique furniture. Bob began his professional life as a chef, then moved to bookkeeping and industrial sales, before finding his favorite career in real estate sales. Bob was a wonderful husband and father who dearly loved his sons. The memories and moments that Bob created with his loved ones will be cherished forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Kevin and Larry.
Bob is survived by wife of fifty years, Ann Hashbarger of Ridgedale, Missouri; two sons: Joshua Hashbarger of St. Louis, Missouri, and Nathan Hashbarger of Houston, Texas; and sister, Beth Vardaman and husband, Lynn of North Palm Beach, Florida.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, 2023, at Cremations of the Ozarks, 115 Industrial Park Drive, Hollister, Missouri.
