Jessie A. David, 97, of Rueter, Mo.
Graveside services for Jessie A. David, 97, of Rueter, Mo. will be Monday, July 22, 2024, 2:00 PM at Kissee Mills Cemetery, Kissee Mills, Mo. Pastor Tim Sims will officiate. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth. Mrs. David entered into rest on Monday July 15, 2024, at Forsyth Nursing and Rehab, Forsyth, Mo.
Jessie was born November 26, 1926, in Rueter, Missouri to Loyd and Eltie (Roberts) Braden. She was a lifelong resident of Taney County. Jessie married Johnnie David on Aug. 23, 1946. They were blessed with seven children. Jessie attended the Old Bryant Ridge Church in Taneyville.
She had worked for Hagle Industries in Forsyth and was a housekeeper for Holiday Inn in Branson. Jessie would babysit her grandchildren and great grandchildren; she was an excellent cook, liked to sew, crochet and would make a wonderful garden. She was an awesome mother, grandmother, and would always make time for the family, and gave great advice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnnie David; son Howard Arthur, daughter Diana Kay, brothers William and Francis, sister Shirley Sims, son-in-law Rick Davidson and one granddaughter Heather David.
Jessie is survived by three daughters Pam Davidson of Taneyville, Mo; Toni Keys (Tim) of Kissee Mills, Mo.; Sonja Wilson (Curtis) of Forsyth, Mo.; two sons, Harold David of Reuter, Mo.; Dwight David (Kathy) of Ava, Mo.; two brothers Dale Braden and Gary Braden both of Reuter, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Aaron David, Mandy Mackey, Amber Barnett, Wendy Stevens, John Davidson, Shane Keys, Derek Keys, Brandi Baade and Dustin Wilson, twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
