Joseph (Scott) Cranfill...
Joseph (Scott) Cranfill was called home peacefully in his sleep, on August 18, 2024, in his home in Lead Hill, Arkansas. Scott was surrounded by family at the time of his passing. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers. He is survived by his wife Paula Cranfill, his two sons Matt, and Scotty, three grandchildren, his mother Barbara Bergan, 7 brothers, one sister and twelve nieces and nephews.
Scott was a Master Journeyman carpenter for 40 years. His quality of work was highly sought after by very discerning customers. He enjoyed off roading and rock crawling in his Jeep. He loved to fish whether they were biting or not. Scott enjoyed trap shooting and any form of target shooting.
He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. Scott was a Christian man, and his faith was evident in life. During Scott’s illness he praised the Lord for his mercy, and power in our lives. Scott had a positive effect on everyone he met. He genuinely cared about people and that was evident when you spoke to him. He was always willing to help anyone that needed it regardless of the situation.
We will carry Scott in our hearts and memories until we see him again in Glory.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 “ So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”
