Judith Trackwell, age 84, Branson, Missouri

Cherished mother, Judith Trackwell, 84 formerly of Eldridge, MO, entered into rest on September 26, 2023 in Windsor, CO.  Services will be Saturday, October 21, 2023 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM with funeral services at 2:00 PM and burial following in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.

Judith Christine Trackwell was born on April 22, 1939 in Kansas City, MO.  She attended school in Lee’s Summit, MO where she met Lloyd Trackwell.  The high school sweethearts were married on November 30, 1958.  Judith spent her early married life raising her three children in Mullen, NE.  When her children became school age, she herself went back to school, attending nursing school and earning her LPN.  She worked many years in the Mullen hospital and nursing home before she and Lloyd retired to Elridge, MO.  Judith loved her life in Eldridge and spending time farming and ranching. She was also a member and active with Lebanon Chapter #259 of The Order of the Eastern Star.

Judith was a gifted artist and craftsman.  She enjoyed carpentry, woodworking and creating pottery.  She took basketweaving classes and made several baskets that are family keepsakes.  Her talents in drawing and painting were special and she had many entries in creating the Duck Stamp for the federal duck hunting license.  Judith also had a soft spot for animals.  She loved the animals on the farm, her sweet Airedale Terriers and most recently the stray kitten and puppy, Sophie and Snoop Dog, that she was raising.  Judith was also a new fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and loved wearing the number 15 jersey.

Judith will be deeply missed by the children she adored, her son, Lloyd Trackwell, Jr.; daughter, Judith Wulf (Dan) of Windsor, CO; and daughter, Melissa Karlson (David) of Omaha, NE.  She also leaves behind her twin sister, Joyce Karyotakis of Nantucket, MA; brother, Eric Peterson of Taneyville, MO and sister, Janet Farrell of Spring Hill, KS.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Eric R. Peterson and Estelle (King) Peterson and her husband Lloyd.  Her presence will be deeply missed.
