Kathryn “Judy” June Huston

Kathryn “Judy” June Huston, 75, of Omaha, Arkansas.

Kathryn “Judy” June Huston, 75, of Omaha, Arkansas passed away at her home with her family by her side. She was born on January 29, 1949, in Omaha, Arkansas, the daughter of Sherman and Juanita (Woods) Parker.

Judy married Dwayne on October 28, 1966. They have been married for 58 years. She loved her family, and the time spent together. Judy was considered a big jokester; she enjoyed making people laugh. Her family stated that she had never met a stranger. She appreciated talking to people, whether it being someone she was waiting on in her sister’s restaurant or someone she ran into at the store. It really didn’t matter; she had the gift of gab! One of her all-time favorite things to do was going camping at Cricket Marina or Tucker Hollow. They would load up the whole family and go and stay for weeks at a time, sometimes months. The ones that had to work would get up and go to work and then come back to the campsite in the evening. While camping, she enjoyed getting her hook wet and catching some fish. Other interests she had were canning and going to yard sales. Other than Dwayne, Judy had another love, her little chihuahua Brut. He was always at her side. Her favorite song to sing to the granddaughters was “You Are My Sunshine”. Her family and friends will miss her dearly, but she will be in their hearts forever.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters Charlene Fickes, Linda Barnes, Jesslee Gudinas and one brother Burnes Parker. She is survived by her husband Loyd Dwayne Huston of the home, one son Greg (Trish) Huston of Springdale, Arkansas, and one daughter Lisa (Darren) Rose of Omaha, Arkansas. Also, she leaves behind three granddaughters, Adriene (Terry) Veal, Samantha (Jeff) Harris of Omaha, Arkansas, Rachael (Tyler) Jarvis of Spart, Missouri and six great grandsons, Keaton (Lillian) Veal, Camden Veal, Kaisy Veal, Chandler Veal, Karter Veal, Blake Harris all of Omaha, Arkansas. Judy has four living sisters, Joann Rand of Rogersville, Missouri, Caroly Hicks of Omaha, Arkansas, Shiela (John) Atchison of Dearborn, Missouri, Mary (Mike) Lafavor of Odessa, Missouri, three brothers, Wes (Shonna) Parker, Arthur Parker both of Omaha, Arkansas, John Parker of Jonesboro, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews and his extended family and friends.
