Kenneth Andrew Barnes, 53, of Harrison, Arkansas.

Kenneth Andrew Barnes, 53, of Harrison, Arkansas went to be with the lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center with his wife and children by his side. He was born on November 17, 1970, to Buddy and Vernadean Barnes of St. Louis, Missouri and has been a lifelong resident of Boone County.

Kenny has been married to his loving wife Rosemary Barnes for 33 years. He worked in maintenance for 12 years and then became the Chief of Police for Diamond City and Lead Hill for 16 years. He received his GED from North Arkansas College in 2000. Kenny loved the outdoors, he liked to fish, hunt and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Dominion Life Church and appreciated singing along with others and rejoicing his love for Jesus.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents Buddy and Vernadean Barnes, grandson Joshua Kane Massey Jr. and his niece Amanda Christian. He is survived by his wife Rosemary Barnes of Arkansas, parents on earth, Coma and Bunny Rivers of Arkansas, brother Jackie and Trisha Sutherland of Florida, brother Gary and Leah Barnes of Arkansas, sister Linda and Brian McGehee of Arkansas, sister Sandra and Victor Roberts of Arkansas, son Matthew and his two sons (Missouri), son James and his one son of California, son Randy and Samantha Massey and their three children of Arkansas, son Joshua and Samantha S. Massey and their four children of Arkansas, daughter Andrea Harris and Nelson Echevarria and their three children of Kansas, daughter Ashley Barnes and David Bowen and their four children of Kansas, daughter Brittany and Ryan McCreary and their four children of Arkansas, Gabrielle Massey and her one child of Arkansas. Also, Kenny is survived by his church family and friends.

Pallbearers are Matthew Barnes, Randy Massey, Joshua Massey, Skyler Harris, Nelson Echevarria, Damiean Dryden, Ryan McCreary, Clarence Stevens, Scotty Lampkin and honorary pallbearers Dalton Nance, Keith Hudson and Brandon Hampton.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday October 5, 2024, 11:00AM at Dominion Life Church in Bergman, Arkansas with Coma Rivers officiating. Interment will follow immediately after the service at York Cemetery in Bergman, Arkansas.
