Lee Ellen Kinser, age of 64, Branson, Missouri
Lee Ellen Kinser passed on to life eternal with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 8th, 2023 at 0915 at the age of 64. She was a resident of Branson, Missouri.
Lee Ellen was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 10, 1959, to her parents James Lee and Betty Lee Hoskins. She was an only child but made many lifelong friends through her participation in the Long Beach Junior Concert Band and her family church, Calvary Baptist Church, in Bellflower, California. She came to know Jesus as her Savior at a young age and lived a life of service to him through her passion of music playing the piano. She met her first husband, Eugene Paul Cole, at church and had three children: Hannah, Rebekah, and Zachary. She was a loving and devoted mother spending much of her life as a single parent after Eugene died in 1996. She moved to Eureka Springs to be close to her parents and raised her family there. She worked in the local middle school as the school secretary, the local circuit clerk office, and the hospital using her gift of typing to serve the local community. She shared her love of music by singing, playing the piano, clarinet, and flute in several local churches. She met her husband and love of her life in 2006, Kenny Kinser. They shared the same loves of God and music and served together as a team worshipping God. They taught piano, vocal, and guitar lessons in their home for several years before retiring to Branson, Missouri. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December 2022 but continued until her passing sharing music at the Branson Senior Center and at their local church, Friendly Baptist Church. She wanted everyone to know that she was “thankful for a lifetime of God’s faithfulness.”
Lee Ellen is survived by her husband Kenny Dale Kinser; her children Hannah Elizabeth Hernandez, Rebekah Lee Parton, and Zachary James Paul Cole; her grandchildren Hezakiah Keandre Hernandez, Marshall Abigail Parton, Cody Jett Parton, Aspen Faith Enix, and Judah Ryan Hernandez.
Lee Ellen is preceded in death by her first husband Eugene Paul Cole (1996), father James Lee Hoskins (2010), and mother Betty Lee Hoskins (2011).
Lee Ellen’s memorial service will be held at Friendly Baptist Church in Branson, Missouri on June 24th, 2023 at 2pm with reception to follow. Her body will be laid to rest at Eureka Springs Cemetery at a future date. Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
