Lee Howard Clavin, age 85, Branson, Missouri
Lee Howard Clavin was born on December 11, 1937, in Brunswick, Missouri, and passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2023, in Branson, MO, at the age of 85. The dedication to his family and heartwarming laughter will be lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Lee was the son of, George Howard Clavin and Lyndell (Marquess) Clavin. He committed 26 years to working at the cattle sale barn in Brunswick, where he also lent a helping hand to neighbors’ farms, exemplifying the spirit of community and care that defines rural life. His devotion to family was unwavering, especially notable in the tender care he provided for his mother in her later years.
Survived by his brothers, Keith Clavin with his wife Valerie of Bosworth, MO, Duane Clavin and wife Linda of Branson; and his sister, Linda Wilson of Branson, Lee leaves behind a legacy of laughter and generosity. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews who he loved deeply and enjoyed spending time with.
The joy of time together at family gatherings will forever be cherished in the hearts of his loved ones. He was the embodiment of giving and kindness; a funny and thoughtful man whose good humor and caring nature permeated every encounter. His memory will be cherished.
Graveside services for Lee will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Elliott Grove Cemetery in Brunswick, MO.
In Lee’s memory, donations are requested to an organization of the donor’s choice.
