
LeeAnn Lane, 69, of South Lead Hill, Arkansas.
LeeAnn Lane, 69, of South Lead Hill, Arkansas, passed away March 27, 2025, in the company of her daughter. Born May 25, 1955, in Spokane, Washington. LeeAnn moved around as a military child before settling in Lead Hill when her father retired from the Air Force. She graduated from Lead Hill School with the class of ’73 and lived in South Lead Hill for 50 years, where she became known for her neighborly concern and lifelong friendships, especially Lydia and Angie Glenn, John Cain and his family.
A no-nonsense wife and mother, LeeAnn was also a hard worker for Levi’s with a vibrant personality. She was known for her sarcastic humor and infectious laugh. LeeAnn had a special bond with her dogs, who usually lived to be 15 years or older. She was also thoughtful to her family and friends, always remembering birthdays with funny cards.
In her last days, LeeAnn was cared for at the Springs of Harrison, where she charmed the staff with her candidness, special mention to Nurse Renee, Evan Yocham, and the therapy team who tried so hard to bring her home.
LeeAnn was preceded in death by her parents: George and Barbara Polk, her father and mother-in-law: Duster and Faye Lane; her son: Duster Lane, and in-laws: Bill and Edith Cain, Betty (Nichols) Lane, Judy Lane, and nephew Billy Brown. She is survived by her husband, Andy Lane; daughter: Tropha (Brandon) Parker; granddaughter: Marlee Parker; sisters: Carolyn (Jim) Harp and Betty Polk; brother, Ken Polk; in-laws: Rita and Nelson Greenhaw, Janette Brown, Freda and Mitchell Young, Curtis and Dianna Lane, Leon and Debbie Lane, several nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, and of course, her dog, Zha-Zha.
LeeAnn will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.
