Luther “Lou” Edward Davis, age 69, of Reeds Spring, Missouri.

Luther “Lou” Edward Davis, age 69, of Reeds Spring, Missouri, passed away peacefully October 1, 2024. He entered this life October 25, 1954, in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of James and Ruby (Smith) Davis.

Lou was known for his love of the Lord.  He enjoyed listening to his family sing gospel music and remained steadfast in his love of the scripture.  His children and his Harley remained the loves of his life.  Lou was a masterful storyteller, captivating audiences with tales from his childhood adventures, travels, and the many lessons he learned along the way.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Lou is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Houston Davis.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Kacey) Diaz of Ft. Worth, Texas; three daughters: Cynthia (Eric) McCain of Cypress, Texas, Teri Barbarick of Oakland, Tennessee, and Amber (Katie) Davis of Oakland, Tennessee; and nine grandchildren: Kline, Kash, Nicholas, Caiden, Peyton, Cheyanne, C.J., Chase, and Jean.
