Lydia Lund...
Adored mother, grandmother and sister, Lydia Lund, entered into rest on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Cox Medical Center in Springfield at the age of 72.
Lydia was born on October 22, 1952 in Chicago, IL. She grew up in Illinois and then lived in Wisconsin near the Illinois line, where she began a long career with Ecolab. Her diligent work ethic earned her the role of Supervisor with the chemical company from which she retired after over twenty years of service. In 1996, Lydia moved to Kirbyville to be with her family and most recently lived near her daughter in Branson West.
Lydia will be remembered as a beautiful, artistic soul who loved the outdoors and was generous to others. She loved crafts, scrapbooking and crocheting. She crocheted countless baby blankets and hats, donating them to Cox Hospital to give to newborn babies and their families. She also created exquisite shawls for her church, Forsyth United Methodist Church. Her relationships with others brought her to be a part of preparing for ceremonies and dances on Native American reservations. She coupled her love of the Native American people with her generosity and would donate toys to children on the reservations.
Lydia was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Louise Helen Spencer.
She will be greatly missed by her children: Scott Repinski of WI, Michael Repinski & wife Tabitha of WI, Tammy Deputy & husband Brent of Branson West, MO, Martha A.
