Marjorie Delores Roe age 96, Sarcoxie, Missouri.

Marjorie Delores Roe age 96, passed peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 with loved ones, and Pastor Moses Martinez and his wife Sabrina Martinez at her bedside at Sarcoxie Nursing Center in Sarcoxie, Missouri.

Mrs. Roe was born April 4, 1928 in Cassville, Missouri to Thomas Jefferson and Ova Luvica (Patton) Luney. On August 16, 1958 she was united in marriage to Harvey J. Roe in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Marjorie and Harvey built their home on a small property in Eagle Rock, Missouri in 1968. Where Mrs. Roe resided until 2022.

Marjorie grew up and attended school in the Oak Ridge Community on her family farm.

She would read her Bible faithfully morning and night, and was a Christian of the Baptist Faith.

She worked for The Cassville Manufacturing Company for years as a cutter. She had a great passion for sewing, and made most of her and her two children's clothes. She also loved quilting and knitting. She loved flowers and gardening. She loved to sit and visit, and tell about her memories of her childhood on her parents farm, and talk about her grandchildren and how much she loved them and treasured the memories of them when they were children.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey J. Roe, her parents; Thomas and Ova Luney; son, Terry Luney; daughter, Cheryl (Gritton) Lowe; brothers, Verlan Luney, Archie Luney, Kenneth Luney, Victor Luney, Woodrow Luney; sister, Erple Patton; grandson, Loren Lowe III; great grandson, Mason Lowe.

She is survived by seven grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She will be loved and missed by many.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will be conducting the service.
