Megan Diane Hersh, 37, of Harrison, Arkansas.

Megan Diane Hersh, 37, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away on July 9, 2024.  She was born in Harrison, Arkansas on August 4, 1986, the daughter of Bill and Melanie (Suggs) Maples.

Megan was a waitress at the Ranch House.  When she wasn’t working, she loved spending time with her girls and family.  She and Wayne would take short road trips on Wayne’s Harley Davidson.  She enjoyed going out to eat, one of her favorite places to eat was Arby’s. She liked going to yard sales.  Megan loved to shop; it didn’t matter where it was at.  She could spend hours shopping in the local Dollar General.  She and Wayne and the girls would pile up in their vehicle and go to the drive in theater in Marshall.  Also, Megan liked the escape rooms.  She found it to be exciting.

Megan is proceeded in death by her father William Maples and Jennifer Maples.

Megan is survived by her partner of 14 years, Wayne Decker, four children, Hanna Daly, Reagan Hersh, Rachel Hersh and Harley Decker, three grandchildren, Max, Astrid and Sebastian. Her mother, Melanie Snelson, and two sisters Amanda Snelson and Jessica Maples.  Also, numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

A visitation is scheduled for Thursday July 18, 2024, at 5:30pm-7:00pm at Diamond State Cremation in Lead Hill, Arkansas.  A private burial for the family only, will take place at Milum Cemetery in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
