Noel Q. Braun...
Noel Q. Braun was born on November 14, 1940 in St. Louis, MO, one of three children born to Eldo & Alberta Braun. He completed his education in St. Louis and attended college before proudly serving in the United States Army as a medic. Noel worked as a disc jockey for St. Louis radio, KOMX. He also was employed fifteen years for Brown Shoe Company in St. Louis and it was in his role with the shoe company he met his lovely wife, Thelma who worked in Branson at Mark III Shoes. The two were married in 1984 in Branson. Never wanting to retire or get old, Noel had worked the last thirty years as a manager and distributor for a fireworks company.
Noel enjoyed golf, music and clocks. He was a fan of St. Louis sports and loved rooting for Cardinals baseball, the St. Louis Rams football team of old, and St. Louis Blues hockey.
His soul entered into the presence of God of March 18, 2025 at the age of 84.
Noel was preceded in death by his parents, Eldo & Alberta Braun; his brother, Kevin Braun; and his son, Michael Williams.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Thelma Braun of Branson; daughter, Pamela McCord of Springfield; sister, Brenda Zweifel of Wentzville, MO; granddaughter, Danielle Dearing and great grandson William Isaac Dearing of Pearl, MS; as well as many nieces and nephews of the St. Louis area.
Services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am with funeral mass to follow at 10:00 am.
