Patricia Sue Steele...

Cherished mother, grandmother and friend, Patricia Steele, entered into rest on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the age of 74.

Patricia Sue Steele was born on December 2, 1950. She was one of two children born to Nelson Hampton, Sr. and Margaret (Cain) Hampton.

Patricia grew up in Phoenix, Arizona.  She married Jim Sills while residing in St. Louis, Missouri and began her most cherish calling in life as a wife and mother.  After Jim’s death, Patricia was blessed with a second marriage and opportunity to share her life with Chalmer “Chuck” Steele as his wife.  They resided in Oklahoma for several years before moving back to Branson in 1998.

Patricia had worked briefly for Steak ‘n Shake and Gators in Branson but spent most of her time caring for and spending time with her family.  She enjoyed dancing, was a talented square dancer and loved dancing with Chuck.  She made beautiful ceramic pieces as a hobby.  Patricia was also a fan of Elvis, the Chiefs and the Hallmark channel.

She will be fondly remembered for her love of Branson entertainment and the many talented musicians who she called friends.  She treasured going to music shows especially the Nashville Roadshow Live among many others and was known for the amazing hugs she gave in support and love to her talented friends.

Patricia was also a woman of faith and beloved member of the Grace Family Church in Branson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson and Margaret Hampton; her brother, Nelson Hampton, Jr.; and husbands, Jim Sills and Chuck Steele.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Mike Sills & wife Lisa of Pryor, OK and her daughter, Crystal Greene of Branson along with her three grandchildren, Felicia Greene, Brittany Pierce & husband Nathan and Carson Sills.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, December 19, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.  Funeral services will be Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Danny Fullington officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Branson, MO.
