Richard Leo Robison, age 67, of Ridgedale, Missouri

Richard Leo Robison, age 67, of Ridgedale, Missouri, passed away December 22, 2023, with family by his side. He entered this life January 24, 1956, the son of Sherman and Alice (Hazlett) Robison in Harrison, Arkansas.

Richard proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1667 in Ridgedale, Missouri. Richard was exceptionally talented at tinkering with engines and opened a small engine repair shop. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his loved ones. The memories and moments created throughout Richard’s lifetime will be cherished by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his significant other of thirty-one years, Rebecca Groves of Ridgedale, Missouri; children: Michael (Ginnie) Robison of St. Peters, Missouri, Richard (Chelsey) Robison of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Michelle Berra of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Rachel (Cameron Dugan) Robison of Ridgedale, Missouri; stepchildren: Regina (Coy Scott) O’Brien of Ridgedale, Missouri, and Darrin Groves from Omaha, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by two sisters: Kathy (RL) Davis of Ridgedale, Missouri, and Marlena (Bob) McDonald of Rogersville, Missouri; two nephews; two nieces; one great-nephew; and four great-nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Sherman and Alice Robison; paternal grandparents: Albert and Ida Robison; and maternal grandparents: Ralph Hazlett and Louis Hibbs.

There will be a memorial service held at 1:00 on Saturday December 30, 2023, at Closer Walk Church, 1163 Ridgedale Rd, Ridgedale, Missouri, with William Durrant officiating. Followed by a graveside service with full military honors held at Cedar Valley Cemetery, 601 Cedar Valley Road, Hollister, Missouri.
