Robert Lee Keys...

Robert Lee Keys was born on February 14, 1939 in Lead Hill, AR to J.T. and Ruth (Davis) Keys.  He grew up in Branson attending Bee Creek Elementary School and graduating from Branson High School.  Robert proudly served in the United States Army as a heavy weapons infantryman in 1962 and 1963.

Robert married the love of his life, Connie Still on August 12, 1965 in Yellville, Arkansas.  They were blessed with two daughters, Charlotte and Cheryl.  Their family grew to include son-in-laws and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Robert’s family was his greatest love, especially spending time and showering immeasurable love on his grandkids.

Robert worked many years in the construction industry, mostly as a brick mason. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and wood carving.  Robert was a strong man of faith and long-time member of Mincy Full Gospel Church.  He served in different aspects at church and loved helping with the little ones at church.  Robert will be remembered for his gentle and kind disposition.  His faith and love was lived out in a quiet and humble manner but as a great testimony to his love of Christ and family.

Robert entered into rest at his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. He was predeceased by his parents, J.T. & Ruth Keys.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Connie Keys of Branson; daughters, Charlotte Hale & husband Jon of Branson and Cheryl Hawkins & husband Steven of Landrum, SC; his sister, Fern Fielder & husband Aaron of Branson; grandchildren, Chloe Barnes & husband Tyler, J.T. Hale & wife Josephine, Harrison Hawkins and Spencer Hawkins; and great-grandson, Wilder Barnes.

Visitation will be Friday evening, August 30 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.  Funeral services will be Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Scott Coffelt officiating.  Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.

In Robert’s memory, memorials are requested to Mincy Full Gospel Church, 301 Camp Edwards Road, Kirbyville, MO 65679.
