Rocky Lavell Miller, age 63, of Washburn, Missouri passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at his home.
He was born July 26, 1960 in Hot Springs, Arkansas the son of Edgar Othel and Lottie Jane (Bates) Miller. On April 18, 2009 in Washburn he was united in marriage to Shawnda Reed, who survives. Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Jeffrey Miller and Bobby Miller and one sister, Christina Myers.
Rocky grew up in Hot Springs and was a proud graduate of Hot Springs High School. He dedicated 17 years of service to George’s Chicken in Butterfield, Missouri. Rocky enjoyed playing digital farming games, immersing himself in farming simulators and various games, but nothing compared to the time he spent with his granddaughter. His evenings were well spent watching television, where he could relax and unwind. He was often found giving advice and sharing life's lessons with a dose of good-natured ribbing. Rocky's day was not complete without a cup, or several, of his favorite brew of coffee. Rocky's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit remains alive in the stories shared.
