Ronald Dean “Ron” Norris, 82.

Ronald Dean “Ron” Norris passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024, in Springfield, MO, at the age of 82.
 
Ron was born on May 20, 1942, in Burlington Junction, MO, to Russell and Wilma (Jones) Norris. He graduated from Burlington Junction High School and after high school entered the rodeo circuit, competing in different events as a horse and bull rider.  He later worked for a time as a truck driver before going to work for Kellogg's, where he dedicated 25 years of service as a forklift operator. Ron had both a strong work ethic and zest for life, which included a love for woodworking and dancing.

Ron's life was filled with love and laughter, shared with his late wife Geneva Norris, who passed away in 2020. His sons, Ricky Norris and an infant son as well as his parents also predeceased him.
 
In September 2024, Ron found love again and married Debra Norris, who survives of Republic. He was a cherished father to Glynda Vice and her husband Mark of Gulfport, MS, and a beloved step-father to Anna Pajonk of Springfield, MO. He will also be deeply missed by his sister, Karen Messbarger of Lebanon, MO, his four adored grandchildren, Zach, Sara, Josh, and Mabel, and four great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

Ron will be interred in a private family gathering in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Services are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
