Scott Clinton Russell, age 65, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Scott Clinton Russell, age 65, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, finished the race that was set before him and went to his eternal home on September 11, 2021. He entered this life August 10, 1956, in Monroe, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Melba (Russell) Smith. With great anticipation Scott was joined in Holy Matrimony to Cindy Louise Flint on March 17, 2018.

Scott was a devout man of extraordinary character and embodied what a husband and Christian should be. He deeply loved his wife and family and attended New Day Fellowship in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Being a cowboy at heart and a true outdoorsman, Scott loved the mountains and was gifted with many skills and opportunities to guide various wilderness hunts and was especially gifted in bow hunting. He also enjoyed tennis and golf. He was always the life of the arty and enjoyed music, playing guitar, singing, and dancing. Scott lived in the moment and felt deeply for others. He never met a stranger and reached out to others to find the Lord. His example of life will be cherished and missed by many.

Scott is survived by his wife, Cindy Russell; two sons: Jacob (Jeanne) Burlingame of Washington State and Christian Burlingame of Harrison, Arkansas; two daughters: Shemaia and Chasia Cooper, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; grandson, Elijah; brother, Leonard (Sherry) Smith of Monroe, Louisiana; five sisters: Kathy (Bill) Eppley of Bayport, Florida; Ashley Russell of Florence, South Carolina; Jan Allen of Monroe, Louisiana; Debbie Eaddy of Florence, South Carolina; sister, and Jenny Ellerbe of Monroe, Louisiana.
