Shirley Pauline Balliet, age 83, of Merriam Woods, Missouri.

Shirley Pauline Balliet, age 83, of Merriam Woods, Missouri, passed away on December 6, 2021. She entered this life on August 24, 1938, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lorn and Loretta (Fleshman) Balliet. She is preceded in death by her parents. 

A creative person, Shirley loved using her skills from drawing to building with wood. She was a loving, hardworking, strong-willed, stubborn, determined, and wonderful soul. With many talents, Shirley was especially drawn to sharing her cooking with others as well as building a carpentry business. She loved her Pom and Papillon dogs: Misty, Cassie, Snickers, and Barkley. Most of all she loved her family and will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by her sons: Charles (Maureen) McCurdy of Washington and Kenny Clifford of Missouri; daughter, Charlene McCurdy of Washington; many grandchildren; and her sister, Jackie Olson of Missouri.
