Susan Francis (Anderson) Beck

Susan Francis (Anderson) Beck, age 77, of Kimberling City, Missouri.

Susan Francis (Anderson) Beck, age 77, of Kimberling City, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home July 23, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to parents, Dwight “Andy” & Annette Anderson (Caron) October 1944 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

Susan was a beloved wife, mother and friend who lived life with a positive optimism, carefree spirit, and a bit of “sass”. She retired from a career in cosmetology, working as both a hairdresser and Chanel cosmetic representative for Macy’s (Famous Barr). Susan always saw the best in people and put others needs in front of her own. She loved spending time in her yard, tending to the flowers, watching the deer, birds & squirrels, and she always had a treat for the neighborhood dogs that wandered through. She also enjoyed days on the lake and camping with her family. Susan had a soft spot in her heart for wayward animals and compassion for all creatures. This was especially true of her late dog, “Foxy” who was a stray, and became a faithful companion and protector of the family through the years.

Susan is survived by husband, Rick Beck; daughter, Laura Caravella and husband David Caravella; son, Daryl Muir; stepdaughter Angelique Christensen and husband Steve Christensen; stepdaughters, Lisa Young and Heather Hanson; granddaughters, Anna Lin Caravella and Alaina Maguire; step grandchildren Austin Christensen and Kylie Christensen; sisters, Patricia Lavoie and Jean Krehmeier, sister-in-law Cheryl Anderson (Morin), brother-in-law Randy Rathbun, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her parents, Dwight “Andy” & Annette Anderson (Caron); and brother, Dwight “Andy” Anderson Jr.; and brother-in-law Thomas Krehmeier. The family would like to extend a special thanks to family and friends who rallied around Susan during her illness

and went the extra mile to show love and compassion that made these months joyful in the face of adversity. Susan will be missed but her loving spirit will live on in all that knew and loved her.

A celebration of her beautiful life will be scheduled at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in honor of Susan to the Tri-Lakes Humane Society, 102 Washboard Hollow Rd, Reeds Spring, MO 65737, Phone (417) 272-8113. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. To leave an online condolence, please visit www.cremationsoftheozarks.com.
