Suzanna Casey, 78, of Conway, Arkansas.
Suzanna Casey, 78, of Conway, Arkansas, passed away on December 28, 2024, in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born on July 10, 1946, in Clarksville, Arkansas, the daughter of Norman Robinson and Gussie Phillips.
Suzanna was a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized at the age of 12, at the 1st Missionary Baptist Church by Brother Carl Johns in Clarksville, Arkansas.
After working many years for AmTran bus factory in Conway Arkansas, Suzanna went to cosmetology school and graduated, she began her new career at Jo-La-Ru Beauty Salon. She became an accomplished beautician and was greatly loved by her clientele and her co-workers. She enjoyed shopping for clothes, shoes, jewelry and accessories. Suzanna loved going to the beach, the casino and spending time with friends and family. Suzanna was an outstanding gardener; she grew all kinds of vegetables and flowers in her garden beds. Also, Suzanna enjoyed going to thrift stores and garage sales. She ran her own garage sale for several years at her home in Clarksville. Suzanna adored her dog “Bandit” showering him with love affection.
Suzanna had a dynamic personality and dressed for every occasion. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Suzanna is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Casey, her father Norman Robinson and two sisters Peggy Hampton and Alice Gilbert.
Suzanna is survived by her two daughters, Lesa Howard of El Dorado, Arkansas, Teresa (Ralph) Screeton of Lead Hill, Arkansas, one son Jerry M. Erickson of Conway, Arkansas, four grandchildren Ralph B. Screeton IV of Little Rock, Arkansas, Farris (Emily) Screeton of Bryant, Arkansas, Nicole (Zachary) Upshaw of El Dorado, Arkansas and Haley Erickson of Conway, Arkansas. Also, she had four great grandchildren Brooklyn ‘Gracie” Screeton, Parker Screeton, Leanna Upshaw and Stetson Upshaw. In addition, Suzanna leaves behind her mother Gussie Lavern Phillips, two brothers, John (Marilyn) Bowman of Hartwell, Georgia, James (Karen) Robinson of Harrison, Arkansas and one sister Georgia (Bill) Adams of Harrison, Arkansas. As well as five nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 11, 2025, at 1:00PM, located at the American Legion #340 in Lead Hill, Arkansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mark Girten.
