Tommy Alan McBroom, 50, of Diamond City, Arkansas.
Tommy Alan McBroom, 50, of Diamond City, Arkansas, passed away at his home on January 5, 2025, with his wife and mother by his side. He was born on April 30, 1974, in Dumas, Texas, the son of Thomas and Martha (Williams) McBroom.
Tommy had a love for all sports, but his true favorites were golf and football. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, always cheering them on. Tommy was an ardent blackjack player, and he enjoyed bowling. Throughout the years, Tommy was very committed to bowling and played in several leagues. He had a love for dogs, his beautiful labrador retriever, Dallas will miss him terribly. Even though Tommy and Anne had only lived in Arkansas for 3 years, Tommy became a fan of the Razorbacks. He was excited to attend a game back in November. Some more of Tommy’s hobbies were fishing and camping.
A couple of months ago, Tommy and Anne were able to travel to Maui, Hawaii, it was a magical trip for both. Tommy enjoyed walking on the beach every morning. Anne persuaded Tommy into snorkeling on the reefs. He was hesitant at first, but he loved seeing all the beautiful fish and eels. While in Hawaii, they went to the aquarium and the town of Lahaina to say their goodbyes. This was the town that was destroyed by fire and killed over 100 people just over a year ago. Also, they went to the volcano, Haleakala and hiked the trails around it. The trip to Hawaii left an everlasting impression for Tommy.
Tommy is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
