Virginia Fern Wiseley, age 81, of Rogers, Arkansas

Virginia Fern Wiseley, age 81, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Northwest Medical Center – Bentonville in Bentonville, Arkansas.

            She was born November 7, 1941 in Mano, Missouri the daughter of Roy and Alberta (Holman) Risley, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were one son, Royle Wiseley; her companion of twenty-one years, RB Nash; two brothers, Morris Risley and Curtis Risley and a baby sister, Leta Kay Risley.

            Surviving are her companion of eighteen years, Cleve Madsen of Rogers, Arkansas; one daughter, Teresa Thomas and her husband Todd of Rogers, Arkansas; stepchildren, Leonard Wiseley and his wife Sandra of Washburn, Missouri, Evelyn Nicholas of Cassville, Missouri, Luke Madsen and his wife Cassandra of Garfield, Arkansas and Neal Madsen and his wife Stephanie of Garfield, Arkansas; one sister, Cleta Stanley and her husband Neal of Seligman, Missouri; grandchildren, Angela Knadle, Crystal Brown, Lynn Wiseley, Melinda Kacir, Tiffany Wiseley, Sidney Madsen, Kayla Madsen, Autumn Madsen and Juliana (Juju) Madsen and numerous great-grandchildren.

            Virginia attended school in Cassville, Missouri graduating from Cassville High School in 1959. She was employed by Rogers Tool Works in Rogers, Arkansas for several years and later was self-employed and owned several rental properties. Virginia enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift shops, gardening, crossword puzzles, watching soap operas, and listening to KURM on the radio. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Rogers. Virginia was baptized at the age of eleven at Mano Church and was of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered for her kind heart and generosity.

            Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Charlie Robbins will conduct the services. Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri.

            The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.

            Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Virginia.
