William George Reust, age 75, of Seligman, Missouri

             William George Reust, age 75, of Seligman, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 near his home.

            He was born April 6, 1947 in Guymon, Oklahoma the son of Charles and Vera (Cross) Reust.   On July 25, 1989 in Tucson, Arizona William was united in marriage to Linda Sue Bridwell, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents; three sisters, Pauline Barrett, Juanita Japp and Dorothy Fischer.

            Surviving are four sons, William Reust of Placerville, California, Michael Reust of Arvada, Colorado, Zachary O’Malley and his wife Tracy of Spokane, Washington and Colin O’Malley of Spokane, Washington; one brother, Earl Reust and his wife Maria of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two sisters, Alice Parker and her husband Dean of Guymon, Oklahoma and Ruby Harbour of Corinth, Texas and eight grandchildren.

            William grew up and received his education in Guymon, Oklahoma graduating from Guymon High School in 1965.  After school he joined the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War and was station in Okinawa, Japan.  When William returned he went to college and then began working as a carpenter, traveling all over the United States. William loved spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting and growing a garden. 

            Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Missouri.
