William “Ty” Tyron Gregory Brown

William “Ty” Tyron Gregory Brown, age 59, of Cassville, Missouri

William “Ty” Tyron Gregory Brown, age 59, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at Joplin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Joplin, Missouri.

He was born January 5, 1964, in Monett, Missouri to Wesley and Berniece (Loveland) Brown, they preceded him in death. Also preceding him death were his step-father Bob Sisco, step-son Andy Ingle; father and mother-in-law Bill and Nora Collier.

On July 3, 2002, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas he married the love of his life, Connie Collier, who survives.  Also surviving are two sons, Tyler Burbridge and his fiancé Kim of Neosho, Missouri and Trevor Brown of Cassville, Missouri; one step-son, Matt Collier and his wife Nikki of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Candace Brown of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two brothers, Doug Brown of Cassville, Missouri and Larry Brown and his wife Cathy of Monett, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Tara, Dayton, Skyler, Ava, Olivia, Cash and Drake; one great grandchild, Cura and three more on the way; several nieces, nephews and several close cousins.

Ty grew up and attended school in Cassville, Missouri with the class of 1982.  He worked as a truck driver briefly before going to work at Roaring River State Park and Department of Natural Resources, until he retired.  Ty loved fishing, hunting and spending time with friends and family.  Especially his “brother from another mother” as he called him, Kip Church, who preceded him in death.  Ty never thought he would get to fly or travel to other countries, but he was able to experience both, as well as many other new experiences over the past few years.  Ty never met a stranger and really enjoyed meeting new people on cruises and made some long-term friends along the way.  He even met a couple from Canada, Frank and Lizanne.  You would swear Frank and Ty were related because they acted just alike.  Ty would always stop to help homeless people, even if it was just buying them a burger or something.  He loved everyone and adored all his children and grandchildren, even though they occasionally butted heads.  Ty wanted the best for everyone.  The day he gave his heart to God was the happiest day.  He was really looking forward to walking the streets of glory.

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Donnie Spears will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. Friday at Corinth Baptist Church.

Contributions may be made to the family in memory of Ty.
