Zachary Simpson, 29, of Forsyth went to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024. A visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 12 from 5-7 PM at the River Church, Forsyth MO. Celebration of life service will be Friday, Sept 13 at 11 AM, at the River Church, Forsyth, MO. Pastor Paul Michel and Pastor Greg Mathias will be officiating. Burial will follow at Snapp Cemetery, Forsyth, MO. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth, Mo.

Zachary Jared-Mariha Simpson was born April 3, 1995, in Branson, Missouri. He was the son of Zach Simpson and Cecilia Evans. As a young boy he lived in Illinois. Zach moved back to Forsyth in 2010 where he attended Forsyth High School. He was active at the school with the theater department and later pursued acting. Zach was a musician who created, sang and performed his own music.

While attending the River Church youth group, he met Rick Swan. Rick opened his home to Zach when he needed a place to stay and as a young teenager professed his love for the Lord, accepting the Lord in his heart.

Zach Simpson and Rebekah Powell were biblically married March 10, 2022. They were blessed with two sons, Xaden and Wrenley. As a family they were baptized in April 2023 at the River Church dedicating their lives to the Lord.

If you wanted to find Zach, you could find him playing with his two sons or spending time with his wife. They were his greatest joy. He was a true and loving husband and father.

Zach is survived by his family Rebekah Powell, Wrenley and Xaden Simpson. Also surviving are his parents Zach Simpson of Illinois, and Cecilia Evans of Taney County; paternal grandmother Diana Simmons of Illinois; three brothers Cody McGrath of Branson, Jacob McGrath of Taneyville, Thomas Simpson of Iowa; two sisters Gina McGrath of Illinois and Elisha Lemmo of Branson; two special uncles Jay Simpson and Dion Simpson both of Illinois and friend of the family Rick “Stinky” and Donna Swan of Forsyth.
